Bentivoglio Paris is a feminine and highly sustainable handbag label based in Paris. More than a surname, Bentivoglio literally means «I love you» in Italian. From this meaning flows the founding principle of the accessory brand: to love and care for the people and the planet by respecting and supporting them.
It is in a chill, natural and free ambiance that the studio launches its own vision of the green accessory. The founder, Juliette Bentivoglio, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Applied Arts in Paris, wants to offer a more ecological alternative to today’s fashion.
“I believe in a world more respectful of our environment, people, animals all so precious to our survival.
Therefore, we try to offer a sustainable product in the long run by impacting as little as possible on our beautiful planet,” tells the founder. “Every day, we think of new solutions to improve Woody and the next collections which will be, we hope, traceable and 100% ethical. We are working hard and hope to reach you with this beautiful project.”
Woody is a bag made of Piñatex, wood and a lining made from sugar cane. Inspired by timeless Parisian chic, Woody combines minimalism, elegance and functionality. Piñatex is a innovative material created from pineapple leaf fibers recovered from a plantation in the Philippines. It is ecological by its components and social for its additional economic contribution to these farmers.
This high social impact and low environmental impact textile is proving to be an outstanding alternative to replace animal leather. The ambitious use of wood on the main faces brings an extra vegetal touch to this unique and bold model.

Japanese creation, the lining is infused with a sweet scent: it is created from polyester and sugar cane, this exotic stem mainly grown for the production of sugar. On both sides, there is wood (cherry or black pear) from our beautiful French forests, carved in France and worked in a workshop in Seine-Saint-Denis. The embroidery is made in the Val-De-Marne and all our small brass pieces come from Parisian suppliers. All these pieces are sent to our manufacturer in a small workshop located in the heart of Bastille.
Woody comes in two versions: the first version in cream and cherry wood and the second edition in charcoal and black pear. Each model includes an inner pocket and a wide-brimmed shoulder strap.
